What is the downtime?
Some redness and mild swelling may occur immediately after the procedure, but these side effects usually subside within a day or two. It can feel & look a bit like a mild sunburn. You can usually resume your normal activities the same day or the day after treatment.
How many sessions are needed?
The number of microneedling sessions needed depends on your skin concerns and goals. Many see noticeable improvements after just one session, but a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart is often recommended for optimal results. Maintenance treatments may be needed to sustain the benefits over time.
