Profhilo
Profhilo® rejuvenates your skin, improves elasticity, and reduces the signs of ageing. This innovative treatment offers a non-surgical solution with minimal downtime, allowing you to embrace a refreshed and radiant appearance.
What is it?
Profhilo® works by delivering a high concentration of hyaluronic acid directly into the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies that maintains moisture and plumpness in the skin. The specialised formulation of Profhilo® allows the hyaluronic acid to diffuse through the skin, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
Who is it for?
Do you have heavy brows, deep lines on the forehead, and sunken temples? Profhilo® can treat the temples and forehead, providing deep hydration to firm areas where wrinkle-relaxing treatments are no longer effective. The face is the most prominent feature, and it’s also where the signs of ageing are most evident. As time progresses, facial skin can lose its elasticity, leading to fine lines, sagging, and a loss of volume. Profhilo®, when applied to the face, boosts hydration, stimulates collagen and elastin production, and combats these signs of ageing. Based on recent research and product innovation, Profhilo® can now be injected deeper, offering enhanced hydration and lift.
What is the downtime?
While Profhilo® is generally well-tolerated, like any medical procedure, there are minimal risks involved. Common temporary side effects can include redness, mild swelling, bruising and tenderness at the injection sites. However, these side effects typically subside within a few hours or days. After the Profhilo® treatment, there is no downtime, allowing you to continue with your daily activities immediately. It's recommended to avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas for a short period to ensure optimal results. Any specific aftercare guidelines or recommendations will be provided by Sutha during your visit to the clinic.
How many sessions are needed?
The typical recommendation is two to three sessions spaced four weeks apart followed by maintenance approximately every six months.
