How does the PRX-T33 TCA Treatment work?
PRX-T33 TCA combines three ingredients: 33% TCA, Hydrogen Peroxide and 5% Kojic Acid.
Chemical peels provide excellent benefits for the skin. TCA stimulates the growth of new skin skills whilst also having an anti-inflammatory effect. Also cleans the pores, eradicates bacteria linked to acne and increases the collagen and elasticity of the skin.
The PRX-T33 TCA treatment includes Hydrogen Peroxide, which is known for its strong antiseptic properties. Kojic Acid tackles pigmentation by brightening the skin tone and texture. It also suppresses melanin production, which causes dark blotches on the skin.
What does a PRX-T33 TCA treatment involve?
We start the treatment by cleansing the targeted skin area, removing makeup and dirt.
Your clinician will then massage 2 to 5 layers of PRX-T33 TCA into the skin to achieve a tangible turgor, which is then washed off with water. To finish off the treatment, moisturising face cream is applied to nourish the skin in the early rehabilitation period, promoting cell renewal, increasing the skin’s barrier function and restoring the hydrolipidic mantle.
